Remember the Gang of Six?

I do remember that the crafting of the Affordable Care Act involved both Republicans and Democrats (although, as it turns out, at least some of the Republicans were only there to sabotage the thing) but I rarely remember the particulars. This seems like a good place to start. This article in The Washington Monthly discusses Mike Enzi's admission that he took part in the bipartisan committee only because he had a good chance of making the bill worse.
